Casio EP-20 - not seriously?
True, I tend to prefer more powerful synths. But jamming along on this tiny squeak-box is still fun. Although not easy on a babysize plastic-keyboard. - Can you find the hidden Muppets show tune? It's in the clip. Hidden in time. Really! - the [multitracked] sound improvisations were performed live on the Casio EP-20 only - except for one additonal drum looping plugin to fatten up the groove in one passage. The video is a playback performance and is meant to distract you from the sound. - The fingering technique in the video? Spectacular, I know. :D - Circuit bending? Maybe later. - Destroying it with a blender / sledgehammer / shotgun / firecracker / acid / high voltage / truck and putting the video on youtube? Aw, no, how can you even think of such a thing? ;-) - For sale? No. My price would be unrealistic. The Casio EP-20 of 1987 was basically a kiddie's version of the Casio PT-82. Yeah, I had to look that up, too. Casio were not very successful in the professional synthesizer market, probably because of their reputation as a manufacturer of cheap electronic gadgets. * more info on these machines: weltenschule.de No keyboards and fingers were harmed during the making of this clip.
